New EuroMeSCo Steering Committee has been elected

Following the online vote, full members of EuroMeSCo have elected the new EuroMeSCo Steering Committee for the 2016-2018 period.

The institutes elected to fill in the twelve positions on the Steering Committee are:

  • Arab Reform Initiative – ARI, France
  • Barcelona Centre for International Affairs – CIDOB, Spain
  • Centre d´études et de recherches en Sciences sociales – CERSS, Morocco
  • Centre des études méditerranéennes et internationales – CEMI, Tunisia
  • European Policy Center - EPC
  • Institut national d’études de stratégie globale – INESG, Algeria
  • Istanbul Policy Center – IPC, Turkey
  • Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale – ISPI, Italy
  • Leonard Davis Institute, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel

  • Pal-Think for Strategic Studies, Palestine
  • The Finnish Institute of International Affairs – FIIA, Finland

First edition of the EuroMeSCo Policy Briefings’ cycle

EuroMeSCo has inaugurated the cycle of regular exchanges between its experts on specific countries and EU Policy makers, in particular representatives from the EU Council working group dealing with Maghreb-Mashrek (“MaMa”).

EuroMeSCo contributes to the EU Global Strategy


The EuroMeSCo Annual Conference "Towards a Security Architecture for the Mediterranean", held on 14-15 April in Brussels, aimed at contributing to the debate in the final stretch before the release of the EU Global Strategy.

EuroMeSCo network welcomes six new Members

The 2016 EuroMeSCo General Assembly, held in Brussels on 13 April, saw the entry into the network of six new institutes. EuroMeSCo would like to welcome its new members:
